Pre-event:
Venue finding and negotiation
Client event brief discussions
Supplier/venue research and tender
Pitch presentations
Event:
Budget management
New business development
Attract and target potential awards entrants and potential conference/awards attendees to help generate ticket sales if applicable
Venue liaison throughout lifespan of event
Source and brief suppliers, negotiating when necessary
Source and brief awards judges and event speakers/presenters
Secure top level presenters to enhance the profile of the events
Facilitate shortlisting, judging sessions and internal/external meetings
Ensure sponsorship contracts are fulfilled and sponsor requirements are met effectively through regular contact with sponsors
Produce weekly revenue reports and forecasting
Regular activity update meetings with client
Marketing, promotion and copywriting:
Produce event, advertising and promotional schedules
Develop event branding and theme
Develop all marketing material including adverts, email alerts, web pages, programmes, press releases and tickets
Research and prepare scripts for awards ceremonies
Post event:
De-Brief staff, venue and client
Detailed evaluation of event including guest feedback and development
